About Us
Strike Media is a leading film PR company based in London but with a global reach. 22+ years of experience and expertise in the entertainment and film industry means we know how to make an impact.
Our work encompasses theatrical releases, live cinema, trade stories, press days, Home Entertainment film releases and everything else in between.
Due to our time served, we also have a who’s who of contacts and offer consultancy to directors, producers, sales agents and actors alike.
Strike began life in 2009 under the stewardship of Wez Merchant, whose career started far too long ago in 2002.
Core services
When you use Strike, we become an important part of your team and we take great pride in the fact that we have been chosen to represent our clients. We know there are plenty of PR companies out there to choose from – plenty that offer a cheap service, plenty that offer an expensive service and far too many that offer the earth but deliver next to nothing. We seek to make sure we are none of those.
Most of our work comes from referrals from current clients bestowing our virtues, which motivates us to put everything into spreading the word about our campaigns and brands. We are open, honest, resourceful, always have our ears and eyes open to quirky collaborative opportunities for our clients.
Strike's arms
For years Strike Media have proven that we are scarily good. Teaming up with some of the best names in horror and while we don’t want to spook the competition we have our own team dedicated to the genre. Films include Shepherd, The Exorcism, A Quiet Place: Day One, TV series The Last of Us and FrightFest itself.
Designed to raise awareness specifically amongst a more targeted family audience, The Family Edition targets family publications, Mum & Dad bloggers and influencers. Films include IF, Sonic The Hedgehog and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
There’s nothing quite like a true story, which is why we have been helping filmmakers tell theirs for years. Every story is unique and we give them each a chance to be heard. Films include The Loneliest Whale, RoboDoc, The Lost Weekend and Welcome to the Darkness.
